I am currently a third year Digital Media undergraduate at the University Of Houston. My passion lies in Motion Media however, as a Digital Media undergraduate my abilities and skills range throughout all emerging media. I am always looking for new opportunities to gain experience in all platforms of visual communications.
Throughout my career as an undergraduate I have gained a clear understanding of what it means to be a Digital Media major. I now understand visual communication projects require knowledge in multiple software interphases to be executed. There is no specified way to go about executing specific tasks, as a designer it is my responsibility to be productive with my own knowledge and experience to carry out projects with efficiency and decision. With this being said, I have continued to learn and explore multiple software inter-phases to accomplish past projects. I have developed and polished visual communication skills in Adobe Creative Cloud, entry level CSS and HTML. These softwares include: Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator, Indesign, Webflow and Brackets.
Since January 2020, I have attained and held a position as a Graphic Design intern for the University Of Houston Football Creative Media team. In this position I have been able to perform and engage hands on with graphic design content such as individualized scouting graphics, and General Social media content. To be specific, as an intern I get the opportunity to design templates for incoming high school and transfer athletes looking to get scouted by the University's football team. When creating our templates, our main source of design interphase is photoshop.
